I am a Board Chair, Non-Executive Director, Committee Chair, Board Audit and Risk Committee Member, Director, and Co-Founder with fifteen years board level experience across public and private sectors with particular experience in FinTech, Banking, Multimedia, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, and Software industries.
At the board level, I am the Chair of FITSPA (Financial Technology Service Providers Association of Uganda), a board member of United Bank for Africa, and a member of the Board and Risk Committee of New Vision Group.
I have previously been a Non-Executive Director in Uganda Manufacturers Association. At the executive level, I have over 25 years of experience and I am currently the Director and Co-founder of LumJo Consultants Ltd a company established to address the gap in fit for purpose, affordable, locally available, locally developed, and locally supported software in Uganda.
I have also delivered and implemented IT business strategy and digital transformation projects in several organizations including Tullow Oil (Kenya, Uganda),Barclays Bank, Equity Bank, Posta Uganda, Africa Online, United Nations World Food
Program (Sarajevo, Kampala), Bank of Uganda, and ICL Uganda.
I hold an MBA from the University of South Wales, and an MSc in Advanced Computing from Imperial College, and a governance Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors London.
I am a Project Girls for Girls mentor and I enjoy supporting and mentoring women and girls to encourage them to pursue STEM careers.
I volunteer in education projects as an IT project manager and as a member of the UK Commonwealth Alumni Advisory Panel where I provide input to strategy to support Commonwealth Scholars. I write poetry and I recently published her first book.
